I know that your life has great purpose here on earth. I believe that your earthly struggles are happening so that someone else may be helped. I will admit that this was not always easy for me to say. It sometimes was easier to feel sad and wonder why. To honor Elena and her continuing battle, we have established the Elena’s Hope Research Fund through the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF).  Money donated to this fund is tax deductible and goes to research in Elena’s name.

UMDF was formed by families affected by mitochondrial disease.  The Foundation provides funds to search for cures and possible treatments.  Check back often to keep posted on our success and upcoming events

This is the fourth year that Krave Salon is hosting a     Cut-a-thon to support Elena’s Hope Research Fund on Sunday, September 13th.  Join us and help fund research for Mitochondrial Disease, a disease that does not allow the body to properly produce energy.
